WWE Releases Booker T And Sharmell

After the recent speculation about the future of Booker T and Sharmell, WWE issued a statement announcing that World Wrestling Entertainment has indeed released the former World Champion and his wife.
WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Booker T and WWE Diva Sharmell as of October 27. We wish both Booker & Sharmell he best in all their future endeavors.

this is a real pity
oh well i would of really liked to see booker go out on some kind of retire match
you know where he wins and his mates farewell him
i hope he comes to australia for a few matches

It’s sad we won’t see him wrestle Shawn Michaels–or have another run with the belt–but WWE’s loss may be TNA’s gain.
