Hell has frozen over in the Land of the Extreme as Mr. McMahon defeated Bobby Lashley in their 3-on-1 Handicap Match at Backlash to become the new ECW World Champion. What will this mean to ECW? Will now-former champion Lashley have a response to this devastating defeat? It’s no secret that the Chairman holds the ECW Originals - Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, Sandman and Sabu - with disdain and believes the New Breed are the future of ECW. On the next ECW on Sci Fi, the Originals will confront the new ECW Champion.

The New Breed may have a new war on their hands with CM Punk. The relationship between Punk and Elijah Burke and the New Breed appeared to disintegrate last week when the straightedge Superstar cost them their match against the ECW Originals. Punk showed that he walks alone and follows no one. What will Punk have to say about his actions, and will the New Breed have revenge on their minds? Last week on ECW on Sci Fi, Snitsky continued his path of destruction by demolishing Balls Mahoney. Will anyone else be brave enough to stand up to the deranged ECW monster? Find out the answers to these questions and more on ECW on Sci Fi this Tuesday at 10/9 CT.

He told WWE.com why he made his decision, but will he have anything to say before the fans in Italy? King Booker received a strained and sprained neck from the vicious Tombstone at the hands of World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker and while he recovers from that, the decision was made to repair damage to his knee. Dr. Rios said, “surgery was successful to the bone fragment stuck in his knee joint.” Queen Sharmell also updated WWE.com, adding, “Booker is doing well and is in great spirits.”

ECW’s Hardcore Holly will have surgery April 16 to release a nerve entrapment in his elbow, which was caused by the vicious attack of Snitsky on ECW on Sci Fi – which broke Holly’s arm. Dr. Rios explained that, “his recovery time is anywhere from 3-4 months, depending on the scar tissue around the elbow.”

ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley knew his life was going to become hell after he humiliated Mr. McMahon at WrestleMania 23’s Battle of the Billionaires, and challenged the bald Chairman to “bring it on.” Mr. McManiac will bring it on April 29 at Backlash – and he won’t be alone. Last night on Raw, Mr. McMahon, Shane McMahon, and Umaga joined forces to beat and bloody Lashley. The incensed billionaire then announced that Lashley would defend his championship against him, his son Shane, and the Samoan Bulldozer in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match at Backlash. After demolishing Chris Masters on ECW on Sci Fi and Mr. Kennedy & Randy Orton on SmackDown, ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley looked unstoppable on his Road to WrestleMania. But as Mr. McMahon showed on Raw, there’s a good reason why you should not cross the boss. Will Lashley be able to regain some momentum on ECW on Sci Fi with the Battle of the Billionaires at WrestleMania 23 just five days away? Also this week on ECW on Sci Fi, the eight Money in the Bank participants will collide in the same ring in the same match. ECW’s CM Punk, Edge and Matt & Jeff Hardy will face Mr. Kennedy, King Booker, Finlay and Randy Orton in an Eight-Man Tag Match just days before the Ford Field showdown. Who will gain the upper hand before Sunday?

Speaking of Eight-Man Tag Matches, the New Breed managed to get an edge on the Originals last week when Elijah Burke found a way to top Tommy Dreamer, and Kevin Thorn & Marcus Cor Von defeated Rob Van Dam & Sabu. On the final ECW on Sci Fi before their battle at WrestleMania, Burke and RVD will face off in a battle of the team captains. Which side will seize the momentum before their showdown at WrestleMania? The tension among the Superstars is high as all roads lead to the grandest stage of them all in Detroit on April 1. Don’t miss the last ECW on Sci Fi before WrestleMania on Tuesday at 10/9 CT.

Bobby Lashley did the seemingly impossible by becoming the first Superstar to break the Master Lock. An irate Chris Masters will come to ECW on Sci Fi to battle the ECW World Champion in singles action. Last week, Lashley added another win to his long list since joining the Land of the Extreme, as he took out Randy Orton in the main event. Will Masters be the second Raw Superstar to fall to Lashley in the past eight days? The ECW Originals had a big night on ECW on Sci Fi when Tommy Dreamer emerged victorious in the Battle Royal. Do they have the advantage over the New Breed heading into WrestleMania? Will they be looking to add a reinforcement to their faction?

Following Edge’s consultation with Mr. McMahon, the WWE Chairman has ordered Randy Orton to battle ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley on ECW on Sci Fi. Thanks to the Rated-R Superstar’s persuasion, if Orton does not show up in the Land of the Extreme to compete, he will be removed from the Money in the Bank Ladder Match - just 24 hours after qualifying on Raw. One thing’s for sure: things are not OK for Rated-RKO. Has Edge written a check that Orton’s body cannot cash? Will Lashley make an example out of his opponent, sending a message to another Raw Superstar, Intercontinental Champion Umaga? Speaking of Lashley and Umaga, on the last ECW on Sci Fi, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin announced he would be present for the Battle of the Billionaires contract signing on Raw. With the Rattlesnake, both billionaires and their representatives in the same ring, the sparks flew on Monday night. What will transpire this week on Sci Fi as we draw one week closer to April 1 and WrestleMania 23?

Monday night on Raw, the familiar sound of breaking glass that signals Stone Cold Steve Austin’s entrance reverberated through the speakers of the sold-out US Airways Center in Phoenix. A most unlikely individual - Donald Trump - took WrestleMania 23 to the extreme when he selected Bobby Lashley as his representative in the Battle of the Billionaires. Mr. McMahon cannot be too happy about this news and neither can the Chairman’s choice, the Samoan Bulldozer, especially after the brawl between Lashley and Umaga on Raw that took nearly two dozen security guards, referees and officials to break up.

In fact, Mr. McMahon was so upset that he left Raw, telling Jonathan Coachman that he was heading to San Jose to teach Lashley a lesson on his own turf, ECW on Sci Fi. He also promised to make Lashley’s life “a living hell.” What does the Chairman have in store for the ECW World Champion? Has “The Donald” have found the one competitor that can keep Trump’s infamous mane unshaved?
