Monday night, RAW will be left to sort out the fallout from Vengeance when the Superstars head to Fayetteville, N.C.
After DX defeated the Spirit Squad at Vengeance, Mr. McMahon told Triple H and Shawn Michaels that he would see them at RAW. At the time, little was known about The Chairman’s cryptic message. But now, it’s set - Mr. McMahon will team up with his son Shane to take on DX tonight on RAW.

Goldust appears to have been the victim of “creative having nothing” for him, although there was also heat on him for missing Monday Night Raw this week.
WWE released Mikey Batts, a former TNA undercard performer, from his WWE developmental deal today. Batts had been working in Ohio Valley Wrestling of late. No word yet on why Batts was released.
Dave Lagana has been replaced as the Head Writer of Smackdown by Alex Greenfield. Lagana is said to be working as an assistant to Paul Heyman for the new ECW brand now, with the move happening within the last week.
Several months ago, Lagana was expected to be moved into working on the WWE.com side of things with Dusty Rhodes taking over Smackdown, but once Rhodes began working for the company full-time, those plans changed.
Just 24 hours after perhaps losing the WWE Championship in controversial fashion at ECW One Night Stand, John Cena looks to exact revenge from one of the men that may have cost him the gold – Edge.
Back on his home turf, will Cena be able to make the Rated-R Superstar pay for spearing him through a table at One Night Stand? Or will Edge continue to get the best of Cena?

Former WWF and WCW star John Tenta (known professionally as Earthquake, Avalanche, Golga and The Shark) passed away this morning at 42, after a very public and lengthy battle with bladder cancer. Tenta is survived by his wife and three children. My condolences to the Tenta family and to all those who counted John as one of their friends.
John Tenta was always entertaining no matter what gimmick he had, even the crappy ones. After retiring from the ring to battle cancer, Tenta started posting on the WrestleCrap.com newsboards, as he became friends with WrestleCrap.com owner and author, RD Reynolds. Tenta even wrote the forward to Reynolds’ first book, WrestleCrap - The Very Worst of Professional Wrestling. Through his postings about wrestling, his career and his battle with cancer, I think we all came to know him as more than just Earthquake, more than just a wrestler, we came to know him almost as something of a friend. And today the world and the wrestling business lost that friend.
Thank you for all the years you entertained me and countless others. Thank you for letting us into your life and your battle with cancer. You will be missed. God bless you and your family.
Here is the link for the American Cancer Society in case anyone feels the need to make a donation in John’s memory.
As first reported on WWE Mobile, WWE has come to an agreement on the release of Road Warrior Animal (Joe Laurinaitis) as of today June 6, 2006. He hasn’t had much of a role since Heidenreich was released several months back, so this one isn’t really much of a surprise.
After only announcing a 20 man battle royal with 10 WWE wrestlers and 10 ECW wrestlers for Wednesday’s USA Network special, WWE.com has just added the following two matches to the show:
WWE Champion John Cena vs. Sabu and World Champion Rey Mysterio vs. Rob Van Dam.
WWE is reporting that both Lilian Garcia and Beth Phoenix were hurt at tonight’s Raw. Garcia took a nasty bump off of the ring when Charlie Haas ran into the ring and bumped her off of the apron. WWE is saying she suffered a sprained wrist and is being taken to a hospital for X-rays.
Beth Phoenix suffered a broken lower jaw during her match with Victoria on Raw. It appears the actual injury came when Phoenix was rolled up from behind by Victoria, and her own knee actually cracked into her jaw accidentally.
